Late autumn is one of the most popular periods for trekking. Cooler temperatures, clearer air and favorable weather can create excellent conditions for cloud hunting.
December – February: Cold Weather & Frost
Temperatures at high elevations can drop significantly during winter. During periods of extreme cold, frost may appear around the summit.
This is a great time for travelers who want to experience the dramatic winter atmosphere of the high mountains.
